Christina Holbrook: All the Flowers of the Mountain

For nearly five years, Christina Holbrook worked on her novel, All the Flowers of the Mountain, set in a small town in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. In 2022, she was diagnosed with a brain tumor at a time when she had just acquired an agent and was about to seek a publisher.

N.H. Family Planning Program Contracts Back Before Executive Council

On Wednesday, July 27, contracts for family planning providers will be considered at New Hampshire’s Executive Council meeting, including for three reproductive health providers whose contracts were most recently rejected in January – Planned Parenthood of Northern New England; Equality Health Center; and Lovering Health Center. 

Legal Review of Gunstock Conflicts Continues

 The Gunstock Area Commission has accepted the “final report” in a legal review of the genesis of the conflict between the commission and the Belknap County Delegation. The continuing conflict between those parties and Gunstock management this week resulted in the temporary closure of the resort.
