Catholic Medical Center (CMC) in Manchester agreed to pay $300,000 to resolve allegations that it violated the Controlled Substances Act (CSA) by failing to keep accurate records of controlled substances, including opioids, U.S. Attorney Jane E. Young announces.
“The officer involved in this incident was wearing a body-worn camera, which recorded the event. That footage is currently being preserved and will be reviewed. The officer was not physically injured,” the release said.

One person died and another is recovering in the hospital after a fire Monday at 12:18 a.m. at 19 Sonny Ave., according to a news release from the state Fire Marshal Sean P. Toomey, Fire Chief Shawn Murray and Police Chief Eric Sereno.
