he New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) Division of Public Health (DPH) advises parents and caregivers not to use Nara Organics Whole Milk Organic Powdered Infant Formula. The company has voluntarily recalled the products, which have been linked to a multistate outbreak of infant botulism.
The most common infections in New Hampshire spread through tick bites are Lyme disease, anaplasmosis, babesiosis, Powassan virus, and hard-tick relapsing fever (Borrelia miyamotoi). Mosquitoes in New Hampshire can spread illnesses such as Eastern Equine Encephalitis (EEE), West Nile Virus, and Jamestown Canyon Virus.
The New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) has identified two people with tuberculosis (TB) who were in Manchester and Nashua while infectious. These individuals are the second and third people diagnosed with active TB in the greater Manchester and Nashua areas since March, when DHHS identified a person with TB in Manchester.
While there have been no illnesses in New Hampshire to date, 20 people in other states have gotten sick with listeriosis after eating these products. Four have passed away.
Of the five individuals, at least four reported drinking water from the same natural spring on Old Franconia Road in Bethlehem, New Hampshire.
