No new names of police officers with credibility issues were added to the July quarterly release of the state’s Exculpatory Evidence Schedule.
The names of two more police officers have been added to the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Exculpatory Evidence Schedule’s public list, also known as the Laurie List, though it is unclear if the new public disclosures are entirely intentional.
Attorney General John Formella has agreed to conditionally drop charges against former Ossipee police sergeant Justin Swift for running license plates on the department’s system for his own use.
The records obtained by InDepthNH.org indicate there are more internal affairs reports dealing with James McLaughlin, which the city has so far not provided.
The state courts are violating their own rules by sealing all Laurie List lawsuits, according to a ruling in one lawsuit involving a police officer trying to get off the list.
Attorney General John Formella released his second compliance report Friday required under the new state law that is supposed to make public the names of police or former officers who have been disciplined for dishonesty or excessive force.

Attorney General John Formella released an updated Exculpatory Evidence Schedule on Tuesday that still keeps secret the names of more than 91 law enforcement officers with credibility issues.
Attorney General John Formella sent out a news release Monday reminding officers on the Laurie List of dishonest police of the deadline to file a lawsuit seeking removal from the list or have their name made public.
