CONCORD — The Mass. Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs will “monitor and evaluate” the Site Evaluation Committee’s “shocking” decision Thursday to deny Northern Pass’s application to build a controversial 192-mile transmission line from Pittsburg to Deerfield.
Today, Governor Chris Sununu and the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services Commissioner Bob Scott announced the release of a draft revision of the New Hampshire Wetlands rules, the first complete rewrite of the rules since 1991.
CONCORD — Site Evaluation Committee members challenged the credibility of a number of Northern Pass experts on Wednesday during the second day of deliberations on the proposed $1.6 billion transmission project.

While Site Evaluation Committee members are in general agreement that Eversource has the financial, technical and managerial capability to construct and operate the 192-mile Northern Pass transmission project, they believe loose ends and gaps need to addressed.
