Releasing a sketch of a person of interest in the murders of Stephen Reid and Djeswende Reid has helped get the public calling in with tips about their shooting deaths on April 18, 2022.
Armando Barron, the Jaffrey man accused of murdering the man his wife was flirting with and then forcing her to cut off his head, now claims his wife committed the gruesome 2020 murder.
The person of interest is described as a white male in his late 20s or early 30s, approximately 5’10” tall, medium build, with short brown hair, and clean-shaven. He was seen in the vicinity of the shooting incident on Monday, April 18, 2022, wearing a dark blue jacket (possibly with a hood), khaki-colored pants, and carrying a black backpack.
Ms. Beard has been charged with being a Fugitive from Justice in Massachusetts and will be arraigned on Monday, May 16, 2022, in the Boston Municipal Court, South Boston Division.
Due to the nature of the crime charged, Ms. Beard is considered dangerous and should not be approached. Anyone with information about Ms. Beard’s whereabouts is asked to call their local police department or 911.
Haden Wilber was fired after he was found to have conducted illegal searches and lied about evidence during a 2017 traffic stop during an internal investigation. Wilber’s traffic stop of Maine woman Robyn White resulted in a federal lawsuit that was settled for more than $200,000.
The state Supreme Court took supervisory jurisdiction over the case from the Superior Court saying the issue needs to be resolved quickly so the dates of the filing period do not have to be changed. The filing period for candidates runs from June 1 to June 10.
The motion asks the court to prohibit the use of the new state Senate and Executive Council maps for the 2022 primary and general elections. It also asks the court to set forth a remedial process to create new, constitutional maps.
The Office of the United States Attorney for the District of Vermont stated that Nathan Carman, 28, of Vernon, Vermont, was arrested on May 10, 2022, pursuant to an eight-count indictment charging him with the 2016 murder of his mother, Linda Carman, on the high seas, and related frauds to obtain family and insurance funds.
