Woman Accused of Stabbing Elderly Manchester Man To Death Arrested in Boston

Attorney General John M. Formella and Manchester Police Chief Allen Aldenberg announce that an autopsy was completed on May 14, 2022, on the body of John Glennon (age 71). Mr. Glennon’s body was found inside his home at 323 Franklin Street, the Carpenter Center, in Manchester on May 13, 2022.

The autopsy was conducted by Dr. Mitchell Weinberg. Dr. Weinberg determined that the cause of Mr. Glennon’s death was multiple sharp force injuries, and that the manner of his death was homicide.

On May 13, 2022, an arrest warrant issued for Stephanie Beard, age 34, charging her with second degree murder for causing the death of Mr. Glennon, by stabbing him in the head with a knife; and theft by unauthorized taking for stealing Mr. Glennon’s car, a silver Subaru Impreza.

Ms. Beard was arrested on this warrant on May 14, 2022 by the Boston Police Department in Boston, Massachusetts. Ms. Beard has been charged with being a Fugitive from Justice in Massachusetts and will be arraigned on Monday, May 16, 2022, in the Boston Municipal Court, South Boston Division. No time has been set for the arraignment.

The charges against Ms. Beard are merely accusations, and Ms. Beard is presumed innocent until and until proven guilty.
