Candlelight Vigil To Honor Fallen Security Officer Bradley Haas and Support Staff, Patients

The State of New Hampshire Departments of Health and Human Services and Safety will host a candlelight vigil Monday honoring fallen Department of Safety Security Officer Bradley Haas, and in support of the staff and patients at New Hampshire Hospital. Haas, who formerly served as Chief of the Franklin, NH Police Department, was shot and killed in the line of duty at New Hampshire Hospital on November 17.

NH DHHS IDs 2 Kittens with Rabies in North Conway; Advises Avoiding Direct Contact with Stray Animals

The New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) has identified rabies in two stray kittens from North Conway, New Hampshire. DHHS is advising residents to avoid direct contact with any stray, feral, or wild animals, including cats and kittens, and exercise caution around unvaccinated pets, which can be infected with rabies by wild animals.
