AG: Two Troopers Justified in Killing Man in Franklin

Concord, NH – Attorney General John M. Formella announces that the New Hampshire Department of Justice has completed its investigation into the officer-involved shooting that took place on November 20, 2023, in Franklin, New Hampshire, in which Nate Landrebe (age 42) was shot and killed.

The final investigation report (attached) concludes that, based on all the facts and circumstances, New Hampshire State Police Troopers Aramus Caraballo and James Powers were legally justified in their use of deadly force against Mr. Landrebe.  No charges will be filed against either officer.
