MANCHESTER, NH – Manchester police and New Hampshire State Police were on scene at the Sununu Youth Services Center at 1066 River for a reported riot Tuesday night.

A new poll released Monday by the Saint Anselm College Survey Center shows that support for abortion rights in New Hampshire is at a historic high and nearly 6 in 10 voters disapproved of the overturning of Roe v. Wade on June 24, 2022.
This comes while residents of the county are questioning why state Rep. Mike Sylvia, R-Belmont, a Free Stater who is chair of the Belknap County Delegation, didn’t pledge allegiance to the flag Monday at the opening of a Gunstock Area Commission meeting.
“While the final combined impact of the failure to count cast ballots and double-counting is not able to be determined due to grossly inadequate Ward 6 election records, there remains a possibility that the number of votes lost from the uncounted ballots or added from double-counting could have been outcome determinative for some races,” Attorney General John Formella said.
There was a heavy police presence at the State House and Department of Justice midday Tuesday after people in the building said they were told that a man had made threats.
This year, more than 120 educators were nominated for the title of 2023 New Hampshire Teacher of the Year – the most number of nominations ever received. Among this milestone, 44 applicants emerged to move forward in the selection process.
