At this time of year, the US Supreme Court is nearing the end of its term and releases bunches of decisions as if cleaning out its collective desk before going on summer break and preparing things for next year’s crop of justices.
I am not that “Old School” that I would say technology is the devil, but there are times. Nothing can burn up more time than watching YouTube videos.
After last year’s kumbaya session with its bipartisan budget, and congratulations all around, the 2024 session began ugly with the war on trans youth and stayed that way until almost the very end.
The installation of solar panels on historic district buildings in Portsmouth is currently under debate. At issue is whether or not those panels will be visible to the public affecting the character of those buildings.
And we have SIRI and her knowledgeable sisters who will answer all our questions quickly and amiably; recently we learned that SIRI will be “enhanced” with ChatGPT4 and OpenAI.
The House and Senate approved changing the state’s bail system to draw clearer lines on who should be held as a danger to the community and who should not.
