It is suspected that the lead vessel slowed down and the second PWC collided with it from behind. Immediately after the crash, good Samaritans took the injured PWC operator aboard their boat, began CPR, and transported the teen to the boat ramp where they were met by emergency responders.

In the late evening of August 3, 2023, Danville police officers responded to a call at a residence on Back Road in Danville. Upon arrival, officers discovered an adult female deceased from an apparent gunshot wound. An autopsy has been scheduled for 11:00 A.M
Stephan Condodemetraky, 54, of Bedford, pleaded guilty and has been sentenced in the Rockingham County Superior Court to two class A felony counts of Theft By Unauthorized Taking and one class A felony count of Theft By Deception as part of a fully negotiated plea agreement.
The victim told police a man, later identified as David Mitchell, aggressively approached him and demanded money. He said when he refused, the man kicked and punched him and ultimately stole cash.
The driver of the Toyota was able to get out of his vehicle on his own and he was not injured.
The driver was identified as 60-year-old Craig Young of Weare. Young was arrested and charged with DUI-Impairment and Reckless Operation.
The operator was also identified as 23-year-old Travis J. Moseley (no fixed address). Warrants for Moseley’s arrest were obtained, of which he would be charged with numerous motor vehicle offenses, as well as Reckless Conduct (B Felony).
