Nancy Childress, who is a graduate of Plymouth State, was a former NH teacher until she departed from that path and, in her 40s, went back to college at Franklin Pierce Law to get her degree in Intellectual Property Law. She is also the daughter of famed New Hampshire artist Robert Childress and his wife Nan, who spent the later years of their lives living in the shadow of Mount Kearsarge in Warner. .
NH State Police Accused of Hiding Facts in Fatal Crash Report

By DAMIEN FISHER, InDepthNH.org It’s been almost a year since Linda Gauthier, of Gorham, was killed in a head-on collision on Route 16 in Pinkham's Grant with the truck operated by Errol Fire Chief Bradley Eldridge, and her family is still in the dark about what happened. Linda Gauthier’s husband, Richard Gauthier, who himself suffered debilitating injuries in the crash, is now going to court to force the New Hampshire State Police to release an unreacted copy of the investigative report into the crash.
Warmington Calls for Probe of OPLC Following Two Board Resignations

By PAULA TRACY, InDepthNH.org CONCORD - Executive Councilor Cinde Warmington is calling for an investigation into allegations made by two resigning board members that the administration of the state Office of Professional Licensing and Certification is making it hard to do their job. Created by the legislature as a means for more efficient professional licensing in the state, the OPLC provides administrative, clerical business processing and record keeping functions for about 50 boards that license all working professionals from hairdressers to doctors under RSA 310-A https://www.gencourt.state.nh.us/rsa/html/XXX/310/310-mrg.htm The outgoing Concord Democrat told Gov. Chris Sununu and fellow members of the state's five-member Executive Council that this week's resignations of Vincent A. Baiocchetti III of Gilmanton Iron Works and Eric P. Rochette of Nashua from the Board of Registration of Funeral Directors and Embalmers were of concern given the letters drafted as explanations for their departure.
