By ARNIE ALPERT, Active with the Activists | August 29, 2022

There’s just no room for white supremacists in Nashua, no room for white supremacists in Manchester, no room for it anywhere. We need to fight back every time they come.

What People Say About Us…

“Who does New Hampshire want to have its back when the next hare-brained, get-rich-quick, cockeyed, scenery-trashing, money-grubbing scheme threatens New Hampshire’s greatest legacy---it landscape? Well, I’ll want the reporters and editors at InDepthNH.org---the only news medium that staffed the critical Northern Pass hearings, from beginning to end. InDepthNH.org---good, solid, statewide news coverage, the kind you can depend on, the way things used to be and the way they should.”
John Harrigan, writer
Colebrook

"We desperately need investigative news organizations like InDepthNH to counter the fake Facebook postings and toxic partisan diatribe masquerading as the truth. I’m immensely grateful to InDepthNH for the invaluable work they do."
Gloria Norris
Filmmaker, author of KooKooland

“New Hampshire owes a debt of gratitude to IndepthNH.org for its investigative journalism covering government accountability issues. It has been a pleasure teaming up with them to enhance government transparency and accountability in the Granite State.”
Gilles Bissonnette
ACLU-NH Legal Director

"The arrival of InDepthNH.org has been a game changer. It has filled the void of providing investigative journalism in New Hampshire. InDepthNH.org has provided ethical, quality journalism on issues that impact the lives of New Hampshire citizens daily. In addition to giving a voice and a platform to those who would otherwise be voiceless."

  • Mass. Man Sentenced to 24 Months in Prison for Possessing Stolen Trailers

CONCORD – Robert Gramolini, 64, of Malden, Massachusetts, was sentenced to 24 months in federal prison for possession of stolen goods, United States Attorney Jane E. Young announced today.             According to court documents and statements made in court, Gramolini was seen on video driving a gray Dodge pickup stealing a black enclosed trailer from a business in Hampton, New Hampshire.  Law enforcement located the stolen trailer at a storage lot in Brentwood.  The owner of the storage lot confirmed Gramolini rented space on his lot to store trailers and other items and gave the officers permission to inspect the lot.  Police uncovered other stolen items in his possession, including additional trailers and motorcycles.  Gramolini then arrived at his storage lot driving the same gray Dodge pickup seen earlier in security footage.  After being questioned, Gramolini admitted to taking the trailer from the Hampton business and that he took another trailer “off the side of the road” in Massachusetts that contained approximately $64,000 in heavy equipment.  In total, the value of the stolen property exceeded $150,000.

  • Higher Education Officials Make Their Case to Budget Writers

By GARRY RAYNO, InDepthNH.org CONCORD — After several years of considerable revenue surpluses, the state’s higher education institutions are seeking to at least return to levels of support they had more than a decade ago when state support was slashed in half. The Community College System of New Hampshire has held tuition flat for 12 years and the University System of New Hampshire has held tuition flat for five years.

  • Senate Judiciary Panel Refuses to Protect Granite Staters’ Abortion Rights

CONCORD, NH - During a Senate Judiciary Committee executive session on Tuesday, February 7, 2023, the majority of the committee rejected SB 181, legislation that would enshrine abortion rights in state statute before 24-weeks. The Access to Abortion-care Act would not change any current state abortion laws, but would provide critical assurance to Granite Staters in this post-Roe environment.
