The president of the New Hampshire Troopers Association said there would be “unintended consequences” of opening an entire police personnel file to the public.
“The records you have requested pertain to an ongoing law enforcement proceeding,” according to Tink Cooper, acting chief of the Freedom of Information/Privacy Acts Branch in the U.S. Department of Justice’s Civil Rights Division.
CONCORD – Three law enforcement names have been removed from New Hampshire’s secretive list of 171 officers with credibility, excessive force or mental instability issues since Attorney General Gordon MacDonald announced the new removal protocol on April 30.
