There are not many things more enjoyable to a fly fisher than hiking into a river or stream and catching a beautiful brook trout. Sometimes when that happens we take it for “Granite.”

There are not many things more enjoyable to a fly fisher than hiking into a river or stream and catching a beautiful brook trout. Sometimes when that happens we take it for “Granite.”
I also fished some different rivers and streams that flow into the Connecticut River. The Cold River and the Ashuelot River were some enjoyable rivers to fish.
I am usually a utilitarian shopper. I know what I want and I get in and out of a store rather quickly.
My son Reed and I have been going to Pittsburg for 25 years on and off. Sometimes work, school or family get togethers have prevented us from making the trip, but we manage to find our way back.
How about floating on a tube on a quiet pond or lake with a fly rod in your hand?
Going about my day, usually in a hurry, I barely notice the beauty around me in NH.
