12 From Colebrook Area Indicted for Drug Trafficking

CONCORD – Twelve individuals who previously were arrested have been indicted by a federal grand jury for crimes that primarily involve prescription drug trafficking.
The Laurie List now includes 264 redacted names, up from 153 a year ago.
The Medical Examiner has determined that the cause of Wilfred Guzman’s death was blunt and sharp force injury to the head, and the manner of death was homicide.
“Mr. (Hassan) Sapry was last seen in the area of Pleasant Street in Laconia on Tuesday afternoon and is believed to be on foot. Mr. Sapry is considered to be dangerous and should not be approached.”
The Senate wants to wait and see what the House does with its bill banning discrimination in public schools before moving forward with a similar House-passed bill.
The committee heard half of the speakers in three hours and agreed to reconvene on May 7 at 9 a.m.
Editor’s note: Attorney General’s Office didn’t immediately respond to questions about any possible relationship between the homicides in Laconia on Friday and Hampton on Saturday or whether there are suspects at large who could be dangerous.
