I knew from the first drink I took, that it hit me differently than anyone else. As the years went by, I thought I would never stop.
NH Breaking the Chains: “My life went along just fine, or so I thought. I had a job. I paid my bills. How could I be an alcoholic?”

BREAKING THE CHAINS: “There were 114 deaths in the first three months of 2015 and about 111 confirmed and potential drug deaths for the same time period this year so it looks like we are on track,” said Kim Fallon, Chief Forensic Investigator at the NH Office of Chief Medical Examiner. Fallon cautioned, however, that it is too early to make predictions for 2016.
My mom was talking, but none of it made sense. It was hallucinations from all the pills she had taken. I sat there with my eyes beginning to water. I didn’t see this coming. Then I heard her say something again, but it seemed to make sense this time.
She asked, “Are you mad at me?”
