The Seacoast Artist Association in downtown Exeter invites local artists to submit to their first theme show of the year, “Winter Frost,” on Saturday, Jan. 6th, 10-2.
There are currently 35 approved charter schools in the state, with 32 schools now in operation and three planning to open in the fall of 2024. Three additional schools could potentially open in the fall of 2025.
The Seacoast Artist Association in Exeter starts off the New Year with “Looking Back at Landscapes,” a retrospective by Durham, NH artist Anita Freeman.
As of 7:30 p.m. approximately 380 customers remained without power in New Hampshire, and the energy company will substantially complete restoration for all customers currently without power by 10 p.m., with the majority completed well before that.

The indictments allege that Mr. Brave committed eight felony offenses. Mr. Brave is charged with one count of Theft by Deception (a class A felony) for stealing over $1,500.00 in Strafford County funds for credit-card reimbursements through deception; two counts of Falsifying Physical Evidence (both class B felonies) – one for submitting false reimbursement justifications, and one for altering a document submitted for reimbursement; and five counts of Perjury (all class B felonies) for lying in his testimony before the Strafford County Grand Jury during the course of the investigation.
“Justice has been served today. The defendant is being held accountable for his crimes. I hope the sentences handed down can bring some closure to the family and loved ones of Stephen and Djeswende Reid,” said Attorney General Formella.
Victor Cuevas Romero, 27, pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to distribute a controlled substance, namely, fentanyl.
