A Nashua Man has been arrested in Maine for allegedly assaulting a 4-year-old boy on Jan. 19 at a residence in Nashua.
On Jan. 19, Nashua police officers responded to a residence to assist with a medical emergency involving a four-year-old boy who sustained serious head and facial injuries, according to a Nashua police press release.
Jose Gurley, 25, was identified as the suspect of a first-degree assault – a Class A felony.
Police obtained a warrant charging Gurley with first-degree assault and after learning he had fled to Maine coordinated with police there and located a vehicle associated with him in Cornish, Maine, where Gurley was arrested without incident Jan. 26 by Maine State Police.
Gurley is currently being held at the York County Jail in Maine, awaiting extradition back to New Hampshire.
