AG: Thornton Shooting with Serious Injuries Investigated

Concord, NH – Police are responding to a shooting incident with serious bodily injury on Upper Mad River Road in Thornton, New Hampshire, according to a news release from Attorney General John Formella.

Formella said the New Hampshire State Police Major Crime Unit, the Thornton Police Department, and the Campton Police Department are investigating.

“The exact circumstances of the incident remain under active investigation. All parties have been identified and there is no known threat to the general public at this time,” the release said.

Additional information will be released as it becomes available while protecting the integrity of the investigation.
