New Hampshire’s Mikaela Shiffrin took third in the Giant Slalom and won the slalom by a whopping 2.24 seconds – one of the largest win margins in recent history – to the delight of the crowd and to the astonishment of little girls out there hoping to someday do the same.
But this is not a typical year in many ways with a landmark general election looming in less than a year and the First-in-the-Nation presidential primary two months away and with a still-crowded Democratic field.
Even in a generally pro-police state like New Hampshire, some say the shootings are justified far too often and suggest it’s time to empanel a civilian review board to examine them.
