Stories about the ongoing Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic and how it’s impacting New Hampshire.
There are currently 212 individuals hospitalized with COVID-19.
There are two hundred and thirteen individuals under the age of 18 and the rest are adults with 54% being female and 46% being male.
There are currently 186 individuals hospitalized with COVID-19. In New Hampshire, since the start of the pandemic, there have been a total of 137,778 cases of COVID-19 diagnosed.
While the Executive Council’s Republican majority rejected $27 million in federal funds for boosting vaccines, effectively slowing the potential roll-out of clinics for 125,000 New Hampshire children ages 5-11, state officials said believe they can find a total of $22 million from other accounts.
There are currently 190 individuals hospitalized with COVID-19. In New Hampshire, since the start of the pandemic, there have been a total of 137,156 cases of COVID-19 diagnosed.
The state announce 3 COVID-19 deaths on Monday. Totaling the state’s numbers shows 1,682 new Covid-19 cases Friday, Saturday and Sunday and 650 cases from the previous week. The state is catching up on backlog caused when the surveillance system was down for four days.
Jake Leon, spokesman for the Department of Health and Human Services, said he couldn’t say how many fully vaccinated people have been infected with or died from COVID-19 as of Friday because the surveillance system healthcare providers use to notify the department of new cases was down for four days.
The state says because of an issue with the surveillance system health care providers use to report to DHHS, new case data is unavailable.
“The fact that supervising SAU 16 staff did not stop the contact tracing procedure, despite having acknowledged receiving the email from the Superintendent informing all staff that they were not to ask students about their vaccine status, is a very disturbing failure to protect students,” the statement reads.
