Kevin “Kelly” Gearhart will have her day in court next week to argue why she shouldn’t be incarcerated at the Secure Psychiatric Unit at the men’s prison in Concord after pleading not guilty by reason of insanity to receiving stolen property, attempted theft and escape just over a year ago.
ProPublica obtained the chat logs of Atomwaffen, a notorious white supremacist group. When Samuel Woodward was charged with killing 19-year-old Blaze Bernstein last month in California, other Atomwaffen members cheered the death, concerned only that the group’s cover might have been blown.
The Disability Rights Center – NH filed a lawsuit Tuesday in federal court seeking access to the death investigation of Phillip Borcuk, 34, who was a resident at the Residential Treatment Unit at the NH State Prison for Men when he died in December.
CONCORD – A transgender patient at the Secure Psychiatric Unit at the men’s prison says the Department of Corrections is trying to “evict” her for standing up for her constitutional right to mental health treatment at the facility.
When Save the Children hired Gerald Anderson in 2013, the global charity believed it was hiring a veteran humanitarian executive with a sterling resume.
