This election looks a lot like 2022 with competitive races for Governor, U.S. Senate and two Congressional seats along with down ballot state and county offices, Scanlan said in a news release.
The number of absentee ballots that have been requested and returned is tracking similar to 2022, and significant efforts by the political parties are underway to increase voter turnout.
A statutory tax cap question may also motivate voters to go to the polls.
