Yes, we are thrilled to be participating in NewsMatch again this year and are grateful for the national foundations that value real news, but we need your help right here in New Hampshire as well.
Starting Nov. 1, all individual donations up to $1,000 each will be doubled through Dec. 31 because of the generosity of the Democracy Fund, Ethics and Excellence in Journalism Foundation, the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, and the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation.
What can you do until Nov. 1?
Help us recruit New Hampshire businesses, philanthropists, foundations and individuals to create separate direct match opportunities for us as well. Last year, NewsMatch doubled individual donations up to $28,000 per organization. We hope for about the same this year.

As trusted information providers, nonprofit journalism organizations like us play an essential role in providing news that local communities rely on to stay informed, make decisions and participate in civic life. In the wake of the digital disruption of news and declining trust in the media and tech platforms, there is an urgent need to redouble support for local and state news to ensure the nonprofit journalism sector can fulfill its democratic mission.
