AG Investigating Shooting Death of Woman in Conway

Concord, NH – Attorney General John M. Formella, New Hampshire State Police Colonel Mark Hall, and Conway Police Chief Christopher Mattei announce that members of the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office, State Police, and the Conway Police Department are investigating the death of an adult female in Conway, New Hampshire.

The Conway Police Department responded to an apartment located at 36 Council Road in Conway in response to a 911 call around 12:00 a.m. this morning for the report of an adult female resident who had been shot.  She was taken to the hospital for treatment where she later died.

Although the investigation is in the early stages, all parties have been identified, and there does not appear to be any threat to the general public in connection with this death.

Additional information is expected to be made available later this afternoon including the woman’s identity.
