Concord, NH – Attorney General John M. Formella, New Hampshire State Police Colonel Mark B. Hall, and Plaistow Police Department Chief John Santoro announce that officials are currently investigating the suspicious death of an adult female in Plaistow, New Hampshire, that occurred early this morning, Sunday, May 18, 2025.
At approximately 6:13 a.m., officers of the Plaistow Police Department responded to a residence on Old County Road in Plaistow in response to a 911 call. Upon entering the home, they made contact with the reporting party and discovered a deceased adult female and an adult male suffering from injuries. The male was transported to the hospital.
While the investigation is just beginning, there does not appear to be any threat to the general public in connection with this situation. At this time, authorities are investigating this as a possible murder and attempted suicide by the surviving adult male.
Additional information will be released as it becomes available following an autopsy scheduled for later today.
