Concord, NH – Attorney General John M. Formella announced that members of the Attorney General’s Office are responding to a report of an officer-involved shooting that occurred late Wednesday afternoon in Londonderry, but provided few details.

The attorney general’s office confirmed the incident began with police first being called to Planet Fitness on Orchard View Drive for a report of shots being fired.

“Responding officers encountered a subject and during that encounter the subject was shot by police,” the attorney general’s news release said.

The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are now under active investigation. More information will be released as it becomes available, the release said.
