Concord, NH – Attorney General John M. Formella announces that Danielle Trojano, age 30, of Plymouth, has been sentenced in the Grafton County Superior Court on two class A felony counts of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer. Ms. Trojano pleaded guilty to both charges on December 12, 2023.
One charge alleged that between December 14, 2017, and June 13, 2019, Ms. Trojano, pursuant to one scheme or course of conduct, obtained or exercised unauthorized control over funds, property of J.S.T and/or J.D.T., from a Citizen’s Bank account, in an aggregate amount of more than $1,500, with a purpose to deprive J.S.T. and J.D.T. thereof. On this charge, Ms. Trojano was sentenced to serve 12 months in the house of corrections, stand committed, and ordered to pay restitution of $159,759.54.
The other charge alleged that between April 2, 2019, and April 26, 2019, Ms. Trojano, pursuant to one scheme or course of conduct, obtained or exercised unauthorized control over funds, property of B.W., from a Citizen’s Bank account, in an aggregate amount of more than $1,500, with a purpose to deprive B.W. thereof. On this charge, Ms. Trojano was sentenced to serve 3 ½ to 7 years in the New Hampshire State Prison, all of which is suspended for 10 years upon release from incarceration. Ms. Trojano must pay restitution of $8,300. She is also prohibited from serving as a fiduciary for any individual.
This matter was investigated by the Plymouth Police Department. The case was prosecuted by Senior Assistant Attorney General Bryan J. Townsend, II, of the Elder Abuse and Financial Exploitation Unit.
