Littleton Police news release:
On Jan. 21, 2024, at approximately 3:43 p.m., the Littleton Police Department (LPD) responded to a medical call that tragically unfolded as a suspected triple fatal overdose incident.
The deceased individuals have been identified as a 26-year-old female from Dalton, NH, a 29-year-old male from Dalton, NH, and a 24-year-old male from Littleton, NH. All three were discovered together late Sunday afternoon.
The Littleton Police Department is actively investigating the circumstances surrounding these tragic deaths with the end goal of charging the individual(s) responsible for the sale of narcotics to the deceased.
The Littleton Police Department has been in contact with the Grafton County Attorney’s office as well as various state, local, and federal agencies, intensifying the focus on this critical case.
“I first want to express my heartfelt condolences to the families impacted by this devastating event,” said Littleton Police Chief Paul Smith said. “These deaths highlight the dangers associated with drug use. I also want to urge the public to be aware that these and other recent overdoses may be linked to a hazardous substance currently circulating in the region.”
Chief Smith emphasized support for those facing addiction, urging individuals or their loved ones to seek assistance. The Littleton Police Department reaffirms its commitment to the safety and well-being of the community and will continue to work tirelessly to bring those responsible to justice.
