Concord, NH – Attorney General John M. Formella and Manchester Police Chief Allen D. Aldenberg announce that members of the Attorney General’s Office and Manchester Police Department are investigating a suspicious death in the vicinity of Central High School in Manchester.
As a precautionary measure, the school instituted a stay-in-place which is still in effect. There is no indication that the incident involves any students or firearms.

On December 7, 2023, at approximately 12:30 PM, Manchester Police responded to area of
Central High School for a reported assault.
Manchester Police are actively investigating the incident, but have determined that it is NOT
school related. However, due to the close proximity to the school building, the Manchester
School District has put Central High is a stay-in-place status. This means all students and staff
stay in their current location.
