CONCORD – Gov. Chris Sununu and 18 other Republican governors sent a letter to President Biden Friday criticizing his handling of the attacks on Israel while pledging their “steadfast support to our ally Israel.”

“Unfortunately, this type of international chaos and violence is a direct result of your administration’s appeasement-first foreign policy,” the governors told Biden.

Ray Buckley, chairman of the New Hampshire Democratic Party criticized the letter.

“It is shameful that Chris Sununu chooses to play partisan games at a time of unity,” Buckley said. “Simply reckless and outrageous.”

The governors’ letter said, “Your administration’s initial response—including a call for a ceasefire—created dangerous confusion that has only further emboldened state-sponsors of terror and their henchmen to continue attacking Israel.”

Sununu sent a copy of the letter in a news release. A copy of the letter can be found here
