UPDATE: “Governor Sununu has been admitted to Portsmouth Hospital this afternoon for additional testing. He is in good spirits and confident in his care,” according to a statement by his chief of Staff Jayne Millerick at 2:04 p.m. Friday.

Concord, NH – On Friday, Chief of Staff Jayne Millerick issued the following statement as an update after Governor Sununu began experiencing flu-like symptoms earlier this week, and has since tested negative for COVID-19 three times:
“Governor Sununu is being evaluated by Portsmouth Hospital this morning as a precautionary measure to determine the cause of the flu-like symptoms he has been experiencing this week. More information will be shared as it becomes available.”
