My heartfelt thank you to all who gave during NH Gives to InDepthNH.org and the many great NH nonprofits that participated and to the New Hampshire Center for Nonprofits that made this 15th year day of giving possible. I checked this morning and 52 people have already given $7,116 and completed the match from the Katy Burns Local Journalism Fund.
I just realized that the NH Gives portal is still open. As it says on NH Gives’ website you can still make donations through Friday at midnight:
“It’s not too late!
The 24-hours is over, but you can still support your favorite nonprofit. You’ve got until midnight on Friday June 12 to support the nonprofits that strengthen your community — from arts and education to food security, health, the environment, and more.”
So here is our NH Gives page to get to know us better and to donate and see the names of the 52 people who have already supported us for this special event.
We have already raised $7,116 and fully matched the $2,800 matching grant from the Katy Burns Local Journalism Fund and still hope to reach our goal of $10,000.
It seems like I am always asking for money, but that is how we fund nonprofit news — by tax-deductible donations and grants. We are very frugal with your charity dollars and spend the bulk of the money on unbiased reporting, editing and basic needs of running a news website.
We are always looking for additional ways to fund our operation and would love to hear your ideas. Email me at nancywestnews@gmail.com. In the meantime, please accept the gratitude from all of us at InDepthNH.org for all that you do keeping us working for New Hampshire. Thanks, Nancy West
