AG: Man Charged with Murdering His Mother in Laconia

Concord, NH – Christopher Garon, 32, has been charged with the second-degree murder of his mother, Linda Dionne, for allegedly recklessly causing her death under circumstances manifesting an extreme indifference to the value of human life, according a news release from Attorney General John Formella.

The autopsy examination confirmed that Mrs. Dionne’s cause of death was strangulation and her manner of death was homicide.

At approximately 1:38 p.m. on April 14, Laconia Police officers were dispatched to 52 Old Prescott Hill Road in Laconia. Upon arriving at the residence, Laconia Police officers found Linda Dionne, 58, deceased inside the residence.  Officers also encountered her son, Christopher Garon, the release said.

Christopher Garon is currently being held without bail, and will be arraigned Thursday after he reportedly didn’t cooperate with a court hearing Wednesday in the 4th Circuit – District Division in Laconia.
