Hunter Nadeau Indicted for Murder and Assault in Country Club Shooting in Nashua

Concord, NH – Hunter Nadeau, 24, has been indicted in connection with opening gunfire at the Sky Meadow Country Club in Nashua on Sept. 20, 2025, in which Rob DeCesare was shot to death while dining with his family and two others wounded, according to a news release Thursday from Attorney General John Formella.

Nadeau, who had previously worked at the country club, has been charged with alternative counts of purposeful first-degree murder and reckless second-degree murder, two counts of attempted murder, one for shooting Steve Burtman, and one for separately shooting at a group of people several feet away from Nadeau. 

Nadeau has also been charged with two counts of first-degree assault, for purposely causing bodily injury to Steve Burtman and Brianna Surette by shooting each of them, Formella said.
