I always love to hear from you, our readers. I get a lot of messages this time of year because of NewsMatch, which will double your donations up to $1,000 per person until Dec. 31.

I must admit it is always difficult to decide what is most important that has happened in the state this year. I tend to think if it happened in New Hampshire it must be important. Hope you will tell me the top stories most important to you. Garry Rayno already has so I will include his and a few more from our reporters and columnists and friends. I will post the Top 10 on New Year’s Eve.

This is also the time of year that I think more than usual about the word kindness, this year more so than in a very long time.
