I always love to hear from you, our readers. I get a lot of messages this time of year because of NewsMatch, which will double your donations up to $1,000 per person until Dec. 31.

I’d also love to get a photo of your holiday decorations if you are in the mood, and hear your suggestions for the top 10 news stories in New Hampshire for 2025. Or just a holiday hello.

We will post the festive photos in one continually updated story starting as soon as you email them to nancywestnews@gmail.com. You can send your top 10 news stories suggestions to the same email. Please include your name and where photo was taken. Share the joy!

I must admit it is always difficult to decide what is most important that has happened in the state this year. I tend to think if it happened in New Hampshire it must be important. Hope you will tell me the top stories most important to you. Garry Rayno already has so I will include his and a few more from our reporters and columnists and friends. I will post the Top 10 on New Year’s Eve.

About NewsMatch , we have until Dec. 31 and could really use your support to secure much-needed funding for 2026. Click here to donate or mail a check to NH Center for Public Interest Journalism, 38 Edgewater Drive, Barrington, NH. 03825. Thanks, Nancy West

This is also the time of year that I think more than usual about the word kindness, this year more so than in a very long time.

I hope you all enjoy this holiday season, that it is filled with kindness and love.
