Dear Reader,

We’ve asked you often during the last two months for money and you are really stepping up to the plate to save local news. I have to ask now and for the next few days to hopefully make this our best year ever.

It’s been a relentless year of reporting – and we love it. We do our best for you and know you do that for us in return. Thank you. Who are we anyway?

Here is a story David Tirrell-Wysocki did about us for the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation:
Local news matters: Nonprofit news outlets shed light on important stories in northern NH and VT

Videos of our 10th anniversary: InDepthNH.org Turned 10 and You Showed Up; Here’s the Videos To Prove It, Thank You

We need your help to keep this work going in 2026.

With just five days left in our NewsMatch campaign, there’s still time to be part of this national movement to strengthen nonprofit news. Every donation made today will be matched, dollar for dollar, up to $1,000. That means a $100 gift becomes $200 — doubling your investment in the New Hampshire Center for Public Interest Journalism and the work we do at InDepthNH.org.

We Love Working for You New Hampshire

The national funders of NewsMatch will match $15,000 up to $1,000 a person for November and December donations. And we have a record number of Local Matchers this year, now including: The Philbrick-James Forum Match, $3,503.36; the Katy Burns Local Journalism Fund, which is matching $10,000, the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation, which is matching another $15,000; the Clover Hitch Advisors matching $5,000 and the Barr Foundation $2,000.

That means we can double your donations up to a total of $50,503.36 and there is still time to become a Local Matcher! We have until Dec. 31 to raise the full match so please donate here or send a check to New Hampshire Center for Public Interest Journalism, 38 Edgewater Drive, Barrington, NH 03825.
We really can’t thank you enough, Nancy West
