FRANCESTOWN, N.H. – Three people are deceased following a crash into a telephone pole on Route 47.
At 11:10 p.m. on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, State Police dispatch received a report of a crash on Route 47 (Bennington Road) in Francestown. Troopers assigned to the Troop B barracks and emergency medical personnel responded.
The preliminary investigation at the scene determined that a 2013 Ford Focus had been traveling southbound on Route 47 when, for reasons which remain under investigation, it went off the right side of the road and crashed into a telephone pole. The Ford then continued along the shoulder before ultimately rolling onto its roof.
The three occupants within the Ford were thrown and found to be deceased upon the arrival of first responders. They have been identified as Aiden Brissette, 19, of Bennington, Seth Fowler, age 19, and Luis Torres, 18, both of Antrim.
Route 47 was shut down for approximately five hours while utility crews attended to the downed wires, and Troopers documented the crash scene. The road reopened around 5:15 a.m.
Troopers were assisted at the scene by members of the Francestown Fire Department and Peterborough Fire & Rescue.
