Concord, N.H. — Attorney General John M. Formella, State Police Colonel Mark B. Hall, and Keene Police Chief Steve Stewart announce that an arrest has been made in connection with a homicide in Keene, New Hampshire last week.

A juvenile has been arrested and charged under the juvenile laws with second-degree murder in connection with the homicide of 17-year-old Christian Walker of Orange, Massachusetts.  As previously reported, a shooting incident occurred in a parking lot on Winchester Street in Keene early on the morning of June 25, 2025.

Since the alleged perpetrator is a juvenile, the law precludes any further information from being released at this time.  See RSA 169-B:36, I (“It shall be unlawful for any person to disclose court records or any part thereof to persons other than those persons entitled to access under RSA 169-B:35, except by court order.  Any person who knowingly violates this provision shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.”).

The charges and allegations against the juvenile are merely accusations, and the juvenile is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
