Concord, NH — Attorney General John M. Formella and Manchester Police Chief Peter A. Marr announce that an autopsy has been completed on the body of Derek Jones Sr., age 60, of Manchester, New Hampshire.
The autopsy was conducted by Associate Medical Examiner Dr. Abigail Alexander. Dr. Alexander determined that Derek Jones’ cause of death was multiple sharp force injuries, and his manner of death was homicide.
At approximately 7:43 a.m., May 27, officers with the Manchester Police Department responded to 434 Union Street, apartment 303, in Manchester in response to multiple 911 calls. Upon arriving, Manchester Police observed a male, later identified as Ramadhani Idrisa Kiki (age 39), on the corner of Union Street and Merrimack Street covered in apparent blood and announcing that he had murdered someone. Ramadhani Idrisa Kiki was transported to a hospital.
An arrest warrant has been issued for Ramadhani Idrisa Kiki charging him with one count of Second-Degree Murder, contrary to RSA 630:1-b, I(b), for recklessly causing Derek Jones’ death.
Ramadhani Idrisa Kiki remains hospitalized at this time with non-life-threatening injuries. An arraignment is anticipated to be scheduled at a later time.
