A panel discussion titled “From the American People: Why Foreign Aid Matters” will be
held on Thursday, March 6, 2025, from 6:30 to 8:00 pm, at the Lake Sunapee United
Methodist Church, located at 9 Lower Main Street, Sunapee. The public is invited to
attend.
The forum will feature local retired senior Foreign Service officers—a former
Ambassador and two former USAID country directors—who will share their
perspectives based on years of service in countries worldwide.
United States Agency for International Development (USAID) has served as America’s
leading international aid agency, working with over 120 countries.
The event is sponsored by the USAID Alumni Association, a non-profit, non-partisan
organization. Refreshments will be served.
