Granite Gambit Teaches Chess at Pittsfield Middle High School With Special Guest

Chess in Education-US,  which has been implementing the NHDOE Granite Gambit, will be at Pittsfield Middle High School on Friday, Sept. 27, at 10 a.m. with a special guest.

Special guest Timur Turlov, President of the National Chess Federation of Kazakhstan, will also be in attendance at Pittsfield Middle High School to watch the chess lesson.

CIE’s National Chess Education Consultant Jerry Nash will be presenting a CIE lesson in the Pittsfield Middle High School library. After the lesson, Nash will play simultaneous mini games with Mr. Belanger’s class.
