2 Fire Victims in Charlestown Identified

CHARLESTOWN, N.H. – The state Fire Marshal’s Office has announced the two victims in the fire at 1B Crown Point Drive in Charlestown on June 6 have been identified. 

The NH Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the victims as 36-year-old Hope Schraer of Enfield, NH, and 38-year-old Allen Ballou of Royalton, VT. The cause of both of their deaths was determined to be smoke inhalation and the manner of death was accidental.   

 The investigation into the origin and cause of the fire is active and ongoing by members of the NH State Fire Marshal’s Office and the Charlestown Fire and Police Departments.
