3-Year-Old Child Hurt Falling From Third-Floor Window in Manchester

MANCHESTER – A 3-year-old child suffered significant head and facial trauma falling from a third-floor window Sunday, according to a Manchester fire department news release.

At 1:09 p.m., the fire department was dispatched to 150 Blaine St. for the fall and on arrival found the father holding the child in the rear of the home.

The man told crews he is the child’s father and advised the child fell from the 3rd floor window, approximately 30 feet.

“The child had significant head/facial trauma so the Elliot trauma team was activated. The child was transported to the Elliot by AMR and MFD personnel,” the release said.

Manchester Police was on scene and investigating. It appears to be an accident at this time, the release said.
