Concord, NH – Attorney General John M. Formella and Concord Police Chief Bradley C. Osgood announce that Jesse James Sullivan (age 31) of Concord, New Hampshire has been arrested in connection with the shooting death of his half-brother Zackary Sullivan (age 19) who died in Concord on January 16, 2024.
At approximately 7:11 P.M., Concord Police officers responded to a report of a shooting at or near 208 Garvins Falls Road. On arrival, officers discovered Zackary Sullivan suffering from a single gunshot wound to the neck.
Jesse Sullivan is charged with one count of Second-Degree Murder, contrary to RSA 630:1-b, (I)(a), for knowingly causing the death of Zackary Sullivan by shooting him. He is charged with an alternative count of Second-Degree Murder, contrary to RSA 630:1-b, (I)(b), for recklessly causing Zackary Sullivan’s death. Mr. Sullivan is also charged with Falsifying Physical Evidence, contrary to RSA 641:6, I, for discarding the handgun that was used in the incident.
Mr. Sullivan is in custody, and an arraignment is anticipated to be scheduled for 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at the Concord Circuit Court.
The charges against Mr. Sullivan are only allegations, and he is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
