We are a small nonprofit news outlet with big plans to save local news in New Hampshire. I know many of you love our work because of the kind notes you send. Whether you are retired or want to add some volunteer time to your current working lifestyle, we need you to volunteer with us.
By the way, InDepthNH.org belongs to you and me as a true nonprofit.
Since 2015, we have been busy bootstrapping our online news outlet dedicated to holding the powerful accountable with a handful of contract workers and volunteers. We have really built an amazing unbiased, nonpartisan news outlet that is the real deal.
We have our own IRS 501C-3 designation and EIN number so all of your donations are tax-deductible.
We have the only affordable statewide obituary page that isn’t behind a paywall, and earn some income by selling our news stories to other publications for a nominal fee. We receive some money from grants, but most of our donations come from you, our dedicated readers, people who understand the link between truth-telling news and democracy, how one won’t survive without the other.

Is grant writing your superpower? Do you know your way around the development and writing of grant applications and proposals? Do you want to collaborate with an exciting group of folks devoted to InDepthNH.org? If you know the ins and outs of grant writing, we need you to help us research and identify potential funding opportunities.
Volunteer social media mogul
Can you use social media to get our stories read by the most interested people. Can you make our TikTok page sing. We need you to get the message out and to be part of our team.
Volunteer business developer
You’ve had a long and successful career in business and you want to tackle a new challenge. Or you are just starting out in business and have some ideas you know will work. We need you. This is the year we are going to kill it on our business component. With your help, that is.
Development director
You have a knack for knowing how to raise funds for a very worthy news outlet. Or you have experience in fundraising, making new friends with people who really want to save local news and showing us all how to accomplish that.
We are just coming off of our best year ever in fundraising through the donations from you our readers, and we thank you. Still, nonpartisan news needs you. We are asking you to help us continue our journey of sustaining local news you can trust by donating your time and expertise.
