Hudson Woman Died From Blunt Trauma; Son Charged with Murder

Grant DeGiacomo, age 26

Attorney General John M. Formella, New Hampshire State Police Executive Major Matthew S. Shapiro, and Hudson Police Chief Tad Dionne announce that an autopsy has been completed on the body of Christine DeGiacomo, age 57, of Hudson, New Hampshire.

The autopsy was conducted by Deputy Chief Medical Examiner, Dr. Mitchell Weinberg. Dr. Weinberg determined that Christine DeGiacomo’s cause of death was due to blunt force trauma to the head, chest, and abdomen and her manner of death was homicide.

On July 6, 2023, Grant DeGiacomo, age 26, of Hudson, was arrested on one count of Second Degree Murder pursuant to RSA 630:1-b, I(b) for the murder of Christine DeGiacomo. He is currently in the custody of the Hillsborough County House of Corrections, where he is being held without bail.

These charges and allegations are merely accusations, and Grant DiGiacomo is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
