CONCORD – Attorney General John M. Formella and Rochester Police Chief Gary Boudreau announce that Haydee Rivera-Nadeau has been charged with Second Degree Murder in connection with the May 1, 2023, shooting of Lisa Rocheleau.
On May 12, 2023, an autopsy was completed on the body of Lisa Rocheleau, who died at the Portsmouth Regional Hospital on May 11, 2023.
The autopsy was conducted by Deputy Chief Medical Examiner, Dr. Mitchell Weinberg. Dr. Weinberg determined that Lisa Rocheleau’s cause of death was a gunshot wound and her manner of death was homicide.
On May 3, 2023, Rivera-Nadeau was apprehended in Charlotte, North Carolina in connection with a then pending charge of Attempted Murder. She was subsequently extradited to New Hampshire and arraigned. Rivera-Nadeau is currently in the custody of the Strafford County Department of Corrections where she is being held without bail.
These charges and allegations are merely accusations, and Rivera-Nadeau is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
